Back about 10 years ago, some of my buds and I led the Moto Guzzi National Owners Club Bikeweek Rides. 3 years in a row. The first year was pretty well attended, but the second knocked it out of the park with 70 bikes. Still remember seeing a line of headlights in my mirrors that seemed to go on for miles. That was a pretty proud day. The third year stormed pretty hard, but if you know Guzzisti, you know there were still a dozen hardcore who showed up ready to ride.
I love doing a long solo ride every year, nice to not have a schedule, no agenda. Also do one or two group trips, anywhere from 3 to 6 others. All these trips are 2 to 2.5k miles usually. My buds and I ride pretty much every Sunday too. I put over 12k miles on the CB in the first year, looking to do the same this year too
It sounds like we have a pretty good number of group riders on board, I'm happy to say, more that I anticipated. Glad to see we are such a diverse group
