Thanks, Badbird. Sounds like you are a lot like me - just need sun protection while you're at work. If that's the case, you'll get some good wear out of these covers. I did consider that the lighter color might reflect some heat. When my black covers faded to grey, I could see how someone looking in his rear-view mirror backing out of a parking space might miss it. Something to consider if you're parking around other cars. After a number of years, it dawned on me that since I run the shop at work, nobody was stopping me from parking my bike in the shop.

Interesting idea about the screw covers on your screen. Might be a challenge on my Dart, as the screws are countersunk into the acrylic a bit. In fact, I'm about to swap that screen for a smaller one that I use in summer to get a little more air.
