I'll throw a shameless plug to Nelson Rigg, who happens to be my next-door neighbor here at work. Their Large size covers are a great fit for the CB1100. Tight enough that they don't flap in the wind and large enough to cover down to the foot pegs.
I used to park outside, and they'd slide me a new cover when they saw that mine was getting pretty faded, which takes about a year of daily use during working hours. I imagine they'd fade quite a bit faster if used outdoors in full sunlight year-round. I now park inside, but still keep my CB covered as I can work on some dusty projects in the shop. This one started out as hi-viz yellow, but had faded to a more custard yellow. When I did park outside, it was nice to know that my cover was fading, rather than my bike.
By the way, I switched from normal black to yellow when a bike got bumped in a parking lot at my last job, and my coworker said he didn't see my cover because it was "the same color as the parking lot".

Also, call me anal-retentive, but I never liked the idea of a cover rubbing on my windscreen. I keep a few microfiber towels, folded in half and sewn up the sides. I slide one over my screen before putting the cover on to avoid scratches.
