Larry, you're killing me! In 1971 my next door neighbor, who was 12 at the time, got a brand new CT-70 for Christmas, just like the one in your photo. It made my 3 hp minibike seem prehistoric by comparison. I'll never forget how my world imploded that day.
Two years later, in 1973, one of my best friends got a brand new SL-70 for Christmas and another got a brand new Yamaha Mini-Enduro. They were both 14 years old at the time. Each had been riding Taco minibikes up to that point, and I still had my 3 hp minibike. My world imploded again.
Today I'm able to ride whatever I want, but whenever I see a CT-70, SL-70, or Mini-Enduro, I'm suddenly a crushed 12 year old kid all over again!
