Storing the Bike Away For the Winter *Not a How-To ;)

Hmm...I thought this was going to be a how-to winterize discussion....I guess here in the Mid-Atlantic, I've kept mine in the garage, close enough for the occasional warm winter day ride if needed. With a proper amount of Sta-bil in the gas, Optimate battery charger connected...and I've read, only start the engine when you can run it for 40 to 60 minutes to keep condensation from hurting the engine. Oh, and my favorite, if kept under a cover, make sure its a breathable cover, but does not hold moisture like canvas or sheet.
