A large change in life like that is a very daunting consideration, but one that could be rewarding.
I'm much too set in my ways for something like that, but Mrs. Gone would like to become more fluent in Spanish, as it would be a help in her work (Not too many German, Greek or French speaking patients around us).
After watching Itchy Boots easily conversing with locals as she progressed up through Central America and Mexico, and seeing the beauty of southern Mexico, she has started entertaining the idea of us taking a year in Mexico to become immersed in the culture and the language. Of course, while she's thinking about that, I'm just thinking about what kind of adventure bike I'd have to buy to be happy down there...
