Obvious sarcasm is obvious. You guys are hilarious.
Once you have carefully read all 53 pages, elemenopi, and then [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=5505&highlight=What+is+an+RLET]this thread as well, you will understand two things:
1. Consensus is not an issue when it comes to RLETs.; and
2. What you now believe to be cumbersome sarcasm is actually a legitimate question.
Popgun will have to rule on the question of whether an eBay-provided-purple-sparkly thing is actually an RLET. My humble opinion is that, while it probably is, there is a graver question about whether it is a suitable adornment for a woman's CB1100. While it may loudly proclaim your gender—and kudos for that—what will you do when the eBay-provided-purple-sparkly thing clashes with your new gloves? I mean, they (RLETs) are not easily swapped out.* The standard, black RLET is like an LBD: it goes with pretty much anything.
*I realise making this assertion may be folly. While I know some members have been assisted by their wives and girlfriends when applying RLETs to their bikes, I am not aware of any case where a woman has done it on her own. It may be that your gender has some strange affinity with the application and removal of Part #95010-16001 which doesn't involve the slightly squirm-making application of the redbirds dagger. Please report in due course.
