Sanoke, you've certainly put some miles on your CB1100 which speaks to your enjoyment of being on it.
My greenhouse contribution via motorcycle use, pales into insignificance compared to most members of this forum; however, I share your view about the joy of the journey being at least equal to if not greater than the joy of the destination. I could not have put it so well.
The other day I went for a ride because I wanted to go for a ride. I didn't know where I wanted to go and, every time, I came to a fork in the road, I dithered about which one to take. My indecision was almost painful. Having made a choice, though I was totally happy and, when I got home, I realised it had been a great journey. The real pleasure was being on the bike.
