Is the CB1100 a Sportbike? Ask Freddie.
#40
Would ya give it a rest, already. We all know about that CB750 evolved to the modern sportbike, but a) that doesn't make it a sport bike and b) the CB1100 was not designed strictly after the CB750, rather it was designed after a number of different STANDARD or UJM bikes from Honda's past. c) Copying the style of a bike that could, arguably, be referred to as a sport bike does not make the copy a sport bike.

The CB1100 is a standard. Freddie and Honda would agree with that. (and please don't post Honda's website showing it in the "sport" category... "sport" does not mean "sport bike" in this case... Grom proves that).

Race your bike. I think that's cool. Mod it out to be as sport-bikey as possible. I think that's cool, too. Even call it a sport bike, if you want. That's cool, too. It's not a sport bike, though. It is just not.
