Here's the thing: the love for motorcycles is more or less ageless. Such passion has not been lost on this forum.

I look at certain motorcycles and I swear that my internal response is exactly the same as how I reacted to seeing something like a Honda Mini Trail or an XR75 back when I was a little kid. (And I can still remember how those bikes impacted me like it was yesterday.) I'm guessing that most here have similar feelings/experiences when it comes to bikes.

Exactly! I use to walk about three miles to my friends house to watch him ride his yellow 50 mini trail and walk home dreaming of the day when I could have one! Total surprise at Christmas when my Dad opened the trunk of his car and took out MY red 50 mini trail! The greatest Christmas present I ever got and I remember it like it was yesterday!!! funny thing is three years later when I traded it in it looked like it did the day my Dad brought it home. lol I washed it every time I rode it! even the Honda shop owner was in shock it looked so good!! I swear my 1100 is the same color lol!!
