How do you buy tires/tubes?

Back in SoCal there were two shops more or less near my house. I'd ride over to one or the other, whoever had the tires I wanted, buy the tires and have them mounted. I don't have the tools for doing it myself and it was quicker and easier to just have it done. I rarely change my own oil either. Go to a shop, get it done, out of there. No taking used oil back to the store, where they invariably say the tank is full, can't take it. I have a sliding scale for bike work, my salary rate figured into how long it will take me to do it usually means I can afford to have it done and the few bucks I save doing it myself is not worth the aggravation.
