Fuel guage

I'm the same. The CB11 is my first bike with a fuel gauge (and no reserve petcock). I've found that the gauge on my '13 is not very linear, but generally accurate. The most accurate reading (for me) is when it starts flashing. I've filled up numerous times within a few miles of the flashing bar and it always results in 3.0 -3.1 gallons used.

That said, I always reset the tripmeter at each fill up and watch for the flashing bar when the tripmeter tells me I should be getting close.
