We have a history section and we have done a lot of research on this model, you might like to peruse, but trust me every 2013 that came into the US in 2013 had a black motor.

He did a great job and it has an engine clear coat just like the 14's I have seen. btw I blacked the vents in the pipes heat shield last night.
