I read somewhere that texting while driving is far more dangerous then driving under the influence, on average. Makes sense to me because in theory someone driving under the influence (and not texting) is still looking at the road. I just don't get it. Sure, sometimes I get the urge to look at the phone while driving a car and the darn thing chirps with a new email or text, but have learned to resist the temptation. It's incredible how many people you see staring at their phones while driving. Driverless cars, PLEASE COME SOON at least for those who couldn't be bothered to actually drive.
