Will the CB1100 be the last of it's kind in America?

OK. When it comes to finned, air-cooled engines...what is more important:
[ul] [li]Classic appearance
[/li][/ul] - or -
[ul] [li]Mechanical simplicity
[/li][/ul]
Would it be acceptable, in the future, for Honda to produce a finned engine that looked air cooled but was in fact subtly cooled by a well-hidden water system?
