I trailer my bikes for a few years and over long distances, because i live about 1000km from the alps
There is no problem with naked bikes. I use sleeves on the fork and straps on the rack (Givi at CB)(sw motech at NC)
It is not so easy to get the bikes on the trailer. I need a third and fourth hand.
First gear and carefully using the clutch, going beside the bike and it crawl up the ramp.
