Buckwheat, the throttle can be abrupt on these (or any fuel injected) bikes. The proper chain tension is a big deal on the CBs. When adjusted properly a lot of the jerkiness will go away, as long as proper throttle control is done.
The handlebars are rubber shock mounted so that may be some of your movement.
