What motorcycle would you buy next?

a suggestion i would make when buying new: when they wheel it out, before you sign it, make a tech or salesman test ride it in front of you.

Heh- the bike had 16 miles on it when I picked it up- he said they always give em a good shake down ride before selling. Yea- I'd like to joy ride all the new toys too I suppose.

I will say they did surprise me- when I got home and was looking at the bike in my driveway- I noticed the windshield was clear. In ALL the pictures, magazines, road tests and youtube videos about this model the windshield is dark smoke.

So- thinking maybe they put in a clear screen from the other models of 660- I emailed him asking, and linked to several of the mag tests and youtube videos.

I received a quick response saying they didn't know what happened- the other 2 of these bikes they had in stock were also clear so they would reach out to the factory rep and ask.

A few hours later they wrote back saying that in the U.S. due to DOT regs that all the bikes had to have clear screens even though all the press bikes had smoke- EU spec. BUT- they would order the euro smoke screen for me and I only had to pay shipping!! Which of course I took them up on the offer.

This is the same place I bought my CB from. Maybe next time if I buy a 3rd bike from them, I'll ask about 'in the crate' and see what they say. Tongue
