Just curious, what part of N.C did you relocate to. I was thinking about looking into the Cary, Apex, Morrisville area.

Apologies for not responding sooner as I have not been following/monitoring the thread, and didn’t notice your latest comments and/or questions until now.
My home is in the foothills of Hickory, which is somewhat centrally located between Charlotte and/or Asheville, and ~ 60 – 75 miles from the former and/or latter.
In reference to “N.Y. is getting way too expensive,” I understand completely; my NC home and property taxes cost less than half what I paid in NJ.
