Another former RD350 rider here! That beauty stopped my web wandering on the forum just now.
Yep, I'm sure it doesn't compare well to the more up to date rides but it brings back fond memories like only having a kick starter, fouling plugs at the worst times, having to carry a couple extra plugs to swap out just to get going.
Then you recall how that little bike would just scream and take off in a cloud of two-stroke smoke and how your clothes smelled after riding!
I've been looking hard at the V-7 II after renting a V-7 Racer for a day just to see how those bikes feel (pretty good for a lower HP but lighter bike). It's all about the ride
The little Yamaha YZF-R3 caught my eye as a sort of spiritual descendant of the original RD-350, small, light, cheaper twin to play with.
