I always find it interesting when Americans complain about the high cost of vehicle insurance 
Like many Canadians, I have had to pay around $95 CAD (currently $72 USD) PER MONTH, 12 months per year, regardless of which bike I have had at the time.
It is the main reason I cannot justify owning more than one bike at a time.
Thankfully I am not a young kid with a 600 cc or larger crotch rocket...they would have to pay several thousand per year for the privilege of riding 6 months or less each year...
...but hey, at least I have free health care
