I test-rode all of the Indians except the Roadmaster last summer. I wanted to like them but I felt like they looked a little tacky up close and personal...like one of those modern plastic transistor radios that's supposed to look like a juke box or an old console radio. Plus they just felt sort of loose and juddery to me, and of course ponderous handling but that's to be expected. As a short-legger, it was also incredibly awkward to reach far enough forward to get a toe on the kickstand to deploy it. The brake feel on all of them could best be described as wooden.
The only one I felt I would want to buy was the Scout / Scout Sixty. The Scout preserves the "joy of riding" and really presents a unique look and character all its own.
