I agree with the others; sometimes it's better to bite the bullet and do it right than to have a mishap.
The CB is a heavy bike and can be a handful in an awkward situation. If it goes much beyond TDC you may have no hope of saving it from falling over.
It's a horrible, crushing feeling to drop a brand new bike so still be careful with the trailer.
And yes, before, during and after pictures would be great
