The import was not hard at all. The RIV Canada website is a great place to start, it gives you a step by step of the process, not bad at all. The cheapest cb1100 I could find was a 2013 in Barrie for 8700 with no accessories. The one I got in Cleveland was 5130 US which came to 6699 Canadian at the time, plus it had three hard cases, an up graded seat, etc....I got everything paid duties and import for just under $8000 including rental of the Uhaul, GST. If I would have bought the 8700 plus tax and added all the accessories I would have been over $12000 easy.
