Progressives help me read the instrument panel (truck or bike) at night; but I don't seem to ride or drive that much at night (I don't meet the standard in AZ that would demand I wear glasses so at night sometimes I choose to not wear them at all; and I can see the instruments just fine).
Progressives: I like 'em. Works well for me and the transition was quick. However; I find that data point pretty useless as we're all different and as some of you have found out you may hate them. We have choices - take what works for you.
I was slow on the uptake with some Zenni eye glass orders and ended up with several pair with no progressive option at all. I find that I can read things in the truck better without the glasses than with them. 99% of the time I'm wearing sunglasses and use the sunglass part more than the corrective vision bit - that said, I do prefer prescription sunglasses to non-prescrition so there must be some benefit.
By the way, bi-focals make you look old.... :poke:
