I pretty much had the same estimate details at $100 USD per hour. Around 4-5 hours if adjustment needed.
I do most of my own maintenance as well, but I've never done this particular adjustment before. And I'm a little apprehensive about me doing a valve shim adjustment for the first time on a bike that's less than a year old and still under warranty.
I will however eventually learn to do it in the future. The Scrooge McDuck in me will eventually win out and make me learn.
