Showa forks, brembo brakes, Chrome frome China and so on. I own a lot of HD shirts and all the tags say made in China so you can tell that to the next HD rider you talk to, lol.

Agree. In my original post I said "some circles here in the USA". I did not say all HD riders. Most other HD riders I met are cool as you mentioned. Some HD riders even went so far as telling me that I should get a Honda for my commute as I put a lot of miles on the bike; and get the HD for fun rides.

Agree again. Yes, when I test-rode the HD bikes, I found the fit and finish better than many Japanese bikes, and you pay the higher price for that. Like it or not, I do like the HD engine sound (with the stock exhaust, and that's good enough for me ears).
On the other hand, the VFR 1200F fit and finish is pretty nice in my opinion, and you'll have to pay more than for the typical Hondas. It's hard to find it in any CA dealer though.
