I do remember those conical front brakes need lots of squeeze, and people used to cut and weld an extension onto each of brake actuating arms for better leverage. Another way is to cheat might be a Moose Easy-Pull Clutch Lever System. It exchanges a little more lever travel for more cable pulling force, and i relatively cheap and easy to install (about $42).
I will definitely keep that in mind!
Still gotta see how the brake feels actually riding it but $50 is a cheap experiment on improveming braking power.
