The issue with the brighter conventional bulbs is that the burn out much quicker than standard bulbs do. I had this happen with mine a couple years ago...I lost both the high and low beam and didn't know it until I got home.
I'm not one for HID bulbs and the LED setups seem to be a really good alternative to that. Also doing the el-cheapo HID conversion bulbs is a non-stater for me because the housings weren't designed for an HID bulb so they throw light all over the place instead of sending a concentrated beam on the roadway.
I would really love to see one of these in person to get a good idea of what they look like and how the beam looks on the road, but I think this is the way I will end up going with my headlight as SOME point...lol.
