So I rode the RS today. I think it's the better bike to be honest. Maybe it's more what I'm used to (though I have a W650 as well as the VFR) but just felt the 17" wheels and sports tyres worked better for me. The tank is lush, that red is so deep and lustrous. Suspension better than the EX as are the brakes. Couuple of niggles, the fuel gauge is terrible. On sidestand the tank read half full, a mile down the road it was slashing empty. I stuck a fivers worth in (less than a gallon) and it was now reading 3/4 full. Simple warning light would be better than that. Display hard to read in sun and this demo bike had 800miles on it. Heel plates were scuffed and looking scrappy, headers were looking a bit shabby as well. Unfortunaly the offer Honda made me for my 3yr VFR (only 10500 miles, I barely road last yr after back surgery - oddly the VFR is easier on the back than the upright CB) was derisory so at this point I won't be trading for what is a nice bike but not a better bike than the VFR (probably not helped by having the W in my garage as well)
