Your post got me excited for this summer. Had 91 CB750 that I did little 500 mile camping trip with two summers ago in desert. It road awesome. Road my 14 CB1100DX from san diego to Detroit last sept/oct and it is just that much better a ride. OMG, this bike is so smooth & strong at any speed (30-110), fully loaded with roll bag on front fender, tank bag, saddle/tail bags, and 70 liter dry bag. You're gonna have so much fun. For touring, I have bigger wind screen and wear boots instead of tennis, plus got new tires. Use my headlight to stash some extra cash/keys. Banana
