People here use to flash their headlights on to warn you of a patrol car. But now in Canada all cars must have daytime running lights on. So you don't know if they are just going over a bump or warning you of a speed trap.
I often got flashed on my CB500XA. I never saw a patrol car, so I wondered if my headlight was not adjusted properly. Or maybe they were just bikers in cars flashing hello.
I never got flashed on my CB1100 EX. Which made me wonder if the LED daytime running light was not being seen by drivers. I started to run my high beam on the highway during the daytime. So far only one BMW has flashed to let me know my high beam was on.
