I wouldn't conclude his costs are necessarily higher than anyone else's, especially in El Cajon, which isn't exactly an affluent area. I'm sure he pays the same for his bikes and labor as everyone else. It's a money grab while the "gettin' is good," pure and simple. You know, flashy new bike, shiny red paint, strong economy, low interest rates. Like I mentioned earlier, good on him if he can get it. If the bike is still in his showroom a year from now, you can bet the "added dealer mark-up" will be long gone.
