Calcb,
I seriously considered a Ural. I love them, but thought that I wouldn't be satisfied with its top end speed either. Even though my rig is easily capable of doing 70 mph or more, I am learning to accept a slower pace of travel and I've come to really like it. Because I frequently have my dog in the sidecar, I will typically only travel at about 50 mph or less because of him. Also, since I don't yet have a windscreen or any other weather protection on the bike, I don't usually exceed 70 mph, even without the dog in the tub. I'm sure other rigs are setup with much more performance in mind. Enjoy your Ural!
