I agree with everything tinboatcapt said. Would not be my first choice for a 4500 mile interstate run across the country, as there are other more capable bikes designed for that purpose, however the bike is more than capable of doing it, and if it was the only tool I had, I'd use it. It is far more capable than bikes I DID ride across country when I was young lol.
However I think the bikes strong suit is the the 45-60 mph back roads ride where the abundant torque, lack of vibrations, smooth shifting transmission and powerful brakes become your ally in a pleasant ride of a couple hundred miles.
