You might find the CB1100 dedicated thread over on ADVrider to be enlightening, from the rumors to the arrival in this country. Lots of predictions and speculation.
I got mine about a year ago and thoroughly enjoy it, but I did end up changing the seat, pegs, and gearing to fit me better. I love the reliability, looks, and it fits my needs well.
It was not originally built to a price point, and is a good quality machine. Basically you are looking at a fine machine at about 50% off. Good luck!
