They start at $27K with no trunk.
$30.8K with trunk.
$32K with DCT.
$34.6 with DCT and Airbag.
I could buy a lightly used BMW convertible for the cheapest model.
I owned a 1982 Goldwing Aspencade. The boss referred to it as the "Cadillac of Motorcycles" and I would agree. But she is no longer interested in motorcycles. So someone as tight as me would have a tough time spending that kind of money on a motorcycle that I would use for day trips on the back roads.
Having said that, I spent a few minutes after breakfast on the road talking to a owner of a new Goldwing. I left minutes before him, but he whistled by me on the highway sitting behind a big windscreen, on a comfortable seat, probably listing to his favourite tunes instead of wind noise. I was green with envy clinging white knuckled to the handle grips and flapping in the wind like flag in a hurricane. OK, I exaggerated slightly, but you get my drift.
