My history as a motorcycle safety trainer is in my DMV file.
that being said, 100% you need to know HOW to talk to a cop. I have been pulled over way, way more than i have gotten tickets. Some legit, most really not, especially on the old 2 strokes, cops think I'm on a dirt bike from the sound more often than not.
regardless of what I make per hour or how much I value my time isn't the point, at all. IF I get caught, I get caught. IF i can talk my way out of it, so be it. IF I have to pay, I pay. Thats MY choice, and that's it. That's the 'cost of doing business' for me. for all the dumb stuff I've done, and do (speeding), I look at it like this: at least they didn't pull me over the other 50 time is was going faster than THIS time. But, if i can 'game the system' as i described above, I'll do that as well.
Got stopped going 90mph once the officer thanked me for my service and told me to slow down.
