The OUTEX product works fine albeit a challenge to apply on the narrow front rim.

If anyone is interested I have a perfect set of mag wheels to trade for an equally tidy set of spoked wheels. The mags did less than 2,000km - see them in the following post: http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=1974
