I guess the latest is the squeaking clutch pivot. Other than that our bikes have been a joy to own, maintain and ride. We have members with 40,000..50,000..even 60,000 pretty much trouble free miles on them now. Typical Honda. They may not be the most exciting bikes on the planet, not the fastest, not the best handlers, but gosh what great motorcycles.
want to read what your experience could be like if you weren't on a CB, go to a Ducati, or Guzzi forum. I have and after visiting those forums and seeing the issues they have on brand new bikes..transmissions locked up, motors locked up, electrical gremlins, fit and finish issues, I am so happy to have my CB1100.

Me too. If I take the German CB1100 Forum for example, the amount of posts has slowed down up to a degree where you can nearly call it a standstill in comparison to monthes in which posts very frequently flew in and led to an active exchange of the members. In wintertime most motorbike riders stop riding and the whole aspect of being involved with it and the machine fades somehow away in the background of garages, carports or being literally covered.
Some don't do that and stay active as good as their time and the weather allows it. I try my very best because I enjoy motorbikeriding so much, not only as an activity being restricted to special seasons of the year.
