I would like to submit, however, that if your '13 did have a gear indicator, you too may secretly wonder why it didn't have an "N" for neutral. I'm the one who brought this up in the other thread and believe I characterized it as merely a "minor quibble" or some such trivial curiosity, nothing else. Appears it made good fodder for a winter-time discussion. I guess my other minor quibble, the horn button location, didn't gain as much traction. In all seriousness, I am surprised the industry hasn't yet agreed (or hasn't yet been mandated) to standardize motorcycle hand controls, from a safety aspect. Ar least shift levers are all on the left side now.
