out of state buyers

I bought my CB1100 and V-strom from different Florida dealers and my Ford P/U in Florida also and have never had this situation arise. I paid the price in cash for these bikes, minus Florida sales tax. I paid the Georgia sales tax to my county tax office next day to get my registration and tags. Maybe a difference in state laws.
