I thnk VLJ's buddy said it perfectly and chose wisely.

I too have spent a lot of freeway miles on the CB at least a dozen out of state trips to Kentucky, West Virginia, North Carolina, Virginia,Arkansas etc and I agre with Sea that it does a yeoman's job of that, but when you also ride a purpose built tourer, it's easy to see the CB's weakness's in that area.

I have also logged quite a few years on a Yamaha FZ-1 sport bike and can without question say that a dedicated sport bike is easier to ride in the twisties, although the CB does a yeoman' s job of that as well.

I think the CB does freeway better than a dedicated sport bike, and I think the CB does twisties better than a dedicated tourer.

Although the CB can bomb expressway and can blast twisties, I don't consider either place it's strong point. I guess I mostly agree with Guth's assessment that the CB is an awesome "just go for a ride bike", but then again I have the privilege of multiple options when I walk into the garage. Many have to make do with just one bike. As a compromise, the CB is a heck of a bike.
