ferret the " ONLY " reason i gave up my beloved CB750 was this same issue. It had reached a point in years and mileage that i had doubt about taking trips with the local Vets while rotating between the 1100.
I feared a major problem requiring a case split rebuild and the 9K I got for it made the emotional loss acceptable . I do smile thinking about its new life cruising around London and know it will be cared for and may run many more years trouble free.
was also as happy that it paid for my CB1100 as i was getting rid of my Bipolar Redhead 1st wife to a Navy Chief who moved her to chula vista ......Thumbs Up
