I don't get attached to 'things' and generally never really miss them if they're sold. However, the CB1100 is pretty darned nice in stock form and I consider it a keeper. Installed a Arrow exhaust today, love the sound. The bike is a means to an end, just like all the tools in my garage. I will use it, enjoy it and own it, but I don't love mechanical things, I just appreciate them until I find it necessary to replace them.
I rode a 1972 CB750 as one of my first "big" street bikes, so owning this is a reminder of years gone by. It's taking center-stage right now in my 'stable' and I do hope to own it for many more years.
