Well friends, finally made room in the garage with the sale of one of my Scramblers and the TU250X.
Long story short, I have been only riding the last ten years and have been ate up with it. The downside is that I've gone through many bikes because I like them and each one has it's own special traits that make the ride unique. But I tend to buy bikes strictly on emotion and not with any thought. So it turns out I let some go after dealing with reality (I'm 6' 4", 285.....the TU250 was not a good choice for me but I LOVE that bike). The problem is that this gets financially expensive, as the market for used bikes is blah...
So, after much soul searching, I decided that our CB1100 is probably a once in a lifetime masterpiece of modern air/oil cooled goodness. Time to take my bike obsession in for a landing, so to speak.
I still have a DR650, TW200, Scrambler, and Moto Guzzi V7II Special...
But these have just been joined by a new 2014 Standard and a new 2017 EX!
All in....I think I will ride the CBs until the very end. They fit me, they are smooth, fun, powerful, and reliable, and they look mahvalous!
That is all.
