Some Guzzi guy are meeting in Death Valley first weekend in November. First time I joined them I took my CB (Griso needed work). Several guys show up on non-Guzzi's so it's not a deal killer.
They have raised the rates - a lot - in Death Valley so we probably won't be doing much of it any more. Time will tell. Guzzi guys love to pinch nickels. Pennies even!
My main complaint with my CB was on that trip - leaving Wickenberg I hit some nasty wind which stayed with me till Vegas. Mileage sunk into the mid 3-'s because of it. Got blown around a bit too. But most bikes would have been in the same boat.
On of the first things I did was lower the pegs. That helped a bit. If you can get your thighs to take some weight seats suddenly become very comfortable.
I'm looking at replacing the Griso and this did not help!! I dont need two CB's!!
