Sadly, the resale value is low. Perhaps another look at your needs is in order. If the only reason you want to sell is that it’s hard to fit two car seats in a Civic, perhaps you need to ask yourself if that challenge is greater than the challenge of earning the dollars to pay for the loss on the bike and the cost of the new SUV. If you can get 3-5 more years out of that little car, you might find yourself in a better position to handle a purchase without selling the beloved bike.
