I think when dealers advertise a price it should be required to include everything except TTL.
Oh, and another thing about dealers advertising prices that don't include any fees that they add. It hurts resale values of used bikes of the same type.
People see a new CB1100 advertised at $5999 at a dealer and don't realize that there will be $1000 or more added in addition to sales tax and license fees.
Serious and informed buyers like Sorg67 are aware of that, but many guys aren't.

I agree, however I do not know if dealer fees are subject to sales tax. I suppose that varies from state to state. But if dealer fees are not subject to sales tax then you save some sales tax if you pay $6K plus $1K dealer fees versus $7K plus zero dealer fee.
Regardless, it seems there should be a disclosure requirement as CBRider says. And it may hurt resale value. I wonder how Nada and Kelly Blue Book consider such things when the list their pricing.
