Thanks for the on-going discussion and great comments. It is true that only I can make the decision. But you all have made several comments that have helped shape and prioritize my thinking. I definitely like the 2013, 2014 Deluxe and 2017 best for looks so while the new 2014 standard blacked out is a great deal, it is not what I am looking for.
I may very well end up with the 2017 since it really seems to be what I want and for a few thousand more spread over several years, it is not much per smile or per mile.
I think I will have plenty of time to find a good 2017 and I am enjoying the bikes I have so I am in no rush. If one of the bikes I am looking at gets sold, no big deal, there are plenty around.
I may make a bargain offer on the 2013, they probably won't take, but maybe they will get desperate to sell it. I think I am going to work on selling the Harley and the Versys to make room in the garage and pick up a CB1100 when I find the bike and deal that speaks to me.
